About the Event

This interactive session is a unique professional development opportunity, giving attendees the tools they need to develop their own plans to create a more inclusive environment for everyone.

The session aims to:

  • Develop an understanding of LGBT identities and experiences in order to confidently advocate for more inclusive workplaces
  • Understand why LGBT inclusion at work is important and the benefits of creating a more inclusive culture on individuals and organisations
  • Explore the meaning of the term ally and identify first steps that they might take to be a more active and visible ally

Numbers are limited so please book in advance.

Session run by:

Garth Heron (he/him)

Client Account Manager - Stonewall

I was previously a client relationship manager at Live Nation and co-chair of their UK Pride network, where I helped to organize their annual presence at the Manchester Pride parade as well as social events in the London office. I came to know Stonewall through the network and was sufficiently inspired by their work that I joined them in January in the private sector.

Molly Byrne (she/her)

Client Account Manager, Stonewall

I have worked at Stonewall for over a year, delivering the Diversity Champions programme and facilitating Empowerment sessions to clients in the advertising, travel, transport and tourism sectors. Prior to this, I worked at a local LGBT charity in Cambridge where I organised LGBT History Month for the City of Cambridge.

Registration is essential as spaces are limited
