About the Event

"Steps to Change: Leading Change in a Public Sector Organisation’

Exploration, using drama and research with senior leaders, of what makes a change programme succeed or fail.

This will be a highly interactive 90-minute virtual workshop, led by Sarah-Jane Georges, using drama enacted by the Steps teamto illustrate and engage participants with the challenges of implementing largescale change. How do you engage people and enable behavioural change when introducing digital transformation to an organisation?

We will share with participants the detailed findings from our recent research project, where we asked global leaders of major change programmes to share their experience of successful and unsuccessful change projects in their organisations. The report features insights from change professionals at HSBC, Network Rail, Penguin Random House and Sky.

Participants will discuss their own experiences and share wisdom in the room to build on the research findings and examine some of the key areas that are critical to success. Steps has over 25 years’ experience of delivering change within organisations in the public, private and third sectors.

The use of drama is uniquely powerful in the behaviour change process and this workshop will bring the topic to life in a very different and exciting way. Join us for a highly engaging session that will disrupt and challenge conventional thinking around the components of a successful change programme.
